Asset licences and attribution.

Rex uses 3D models, textures and scientific data created by other people. Several of those licences require a visible credit wherever Rex is distributed, including this website. This page is that credit.

Maintaining this page. The authoritative list lives with the app, in ASSET_ATTRIBUTION.txt and the asset catalog. When that file is updated, this page should be updated to match. Anything credited here is used under the licence stated, and modifications are noted where they were made.

Looking for the full list? Every credited asset in the Rex library, 385 of them with author and licence, is on the full asset record. This page is the summary. Rex ships only CC BY and CC BY-SA assets: NonCommercial and NoDerivatives licences are incompatible with a paid app that modifies its models, so assets carrying those terms are excluded rather than credited.
